What did you like the best about the tour? “My experience in the weaving venues with the local weavers remains a highlight and will stay with me for a long time to come. The workshops and the positivity shown by everyone at Aranya are inspirational. Its a special place. I also loved the different landscapes we travelled through”.

“This was an amazing introduction to India, its people, culture, religions, politics, and textiles. Visiting skilled artisans in their homes and cooperatives gave our group a bird's eye view about the talents and skills required for making textiles by India's women. All of the people we met were welcoming and beautiful, both on the inside and outside. Sally and Shahbaz are knowledgeable, skilled and passionate about maintaining and supporting artisans and the traditional crafts of India's textiles. The accommodations were lovely and the food was delicious. What a fabulous trip!”
